From the living room, you will access the garden where, in the shade of the lime tree, you will find a table, chairs, and a barbecue. The swimming pool (shared with the owners, 10.75 x 4.25 m, 1.20 m deep, chlorine-treated, with step-entrance and a secure fence) is open from May 15th to the end of September. (Heated pool)
On-site parking. End-of-stay cleaning: €120. Sheets and towels are included; pool towels are not provided. The house enjoys a peaceful location: 1 hectare of carefully maintained gardens where no-kill roach fishing is possible. The various local markets will allow you to discover the fine foods of the Dordogne. Once comfortably settled in, you'll be eager to explore this magnificent region.
You'll be just 13 minutes from the town of Brantôme, known as the Venice of Périgord, and 17 km from Périgueux, rich in Gallo-Roman remains and a magnificent medieval old town. In the surrounding area, you can explore the castles of Bourdeilles and Mareuil, the Villars cave, the pretty village of Saint-Jean de Côle, the truffle ecomuseum, and the Savignac cabins. Activities include canoeing on the Dronne River, treetop adventure parks, and an educational farm.
1 hour from Bergerac, Montignac (Lascaux 4), or Sarlat, a medieval town with an exceptional heritage.
