Lavender House is a traditional detached house built from the locally quaried tuffeau limestone. Newly renovated in 2021, the property comprises of :
Ground Floor - this large open plan sociable space is ideal for entertaining. As you enter, to the left is a spacious open plan kitchen with handcrafted solid wood worktops as well as a panelled dining area with a lovely farmhouse table seating 6 . To the right is a sitting room with beautiful large fireplace with 3 comfy sofas and sideboard which houses a selection of games.
First floor - there are 3 double bedrooms (1 double and 2 twin) with polished wood floors and exposed beams. Each bedroom has a chest of drawers and hanging space as well as a mirror and reading lights. There is the capacity for an additional cot in 2 of the bedrooms. On this floor you will also find a newly fitted shower room with large shower cubicle, sink and toilet as well as an additional wc with toilet and sink.
Exterior : there is a private enclosed garden (ideal for pets) laid mainly to lawn with a number of colourful flower pots and selection of herbs. There is a lovely pergola with seating and feature lights - ideal for sitting with a glass of wine! The small games barn houses a selection of outdoor games including swing ball, table football, boules, badminton, soft archery and croquet as well as a charcoal bbq. On the outside of the barn is an old fireplace, ideal for the cooler nights.
Gites Floreal comprises of 2 properties, Lavender House and Rose Barn (HAUK 10217128). Rose Barn is a characterful barn conversion which sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms and has a pool. Whilst Rose Barn is completely separate from Lavender House, its' close proximity means that the 2 properties could be booked together for that large family get together and guests of Lavender House would then benefit from the use of Rose Barn's swimming pool.
