Welcome to Le Refectoire. This self catering studio gîte has a large open space on one level which has been carefully and tastefully renovated. From your private carport, you walk into the entrance area with seating and coat hanging space also a washing machine, ironing board, iron, clothes airer and picnic basket. Winter surcharge for Jacuzzi from 1 Nov to 30 April.
The gite contains a well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee percolator, kettle and toaster along with a dining table for two. Across the room the sleeping area has a king-sized bed, (Bed linen supplied free of charge) double wardrobe with drawer space and dressing table. The lounge section has a two-seater settee and TV (French and English). The bathroom has been fitted with a walk-in shower with rainfall and regular shower heads, sink and toilet. A wood burning stove is available for those who visit in the cooler part of the year with the backup of electric radiators. Although we do not have air conditioning in the property, we do supply an oscillating fan for your comfort. From the main room, through the double patio doors you will find yourself on your private patio where you will have the sole use of a jacuzzi and a small BBQ. If sitting and relaxing is more to your liking, then a table and chairs plus two sunbeds have been supplied for your comfort. While away the hours with views over our vegetable garden and local countryside.
We will supply a welcome basket on your arrival (for bookings of 3 nights and over) just in case you need a few emergency supplies and this will contain fresh homemade bread, butter, jam, eggs from our chickens (when available), milk and a bottle of water. You will also find starter teabags, coffee, sugar, oil and vinegar.
Your bed will be made with fresh bedding on your arrival. For the more energetic visitors we have two mountain bikes available should you wish to use them. (No helmets supplied so please bring your own). No car charging facilities available or allowed.
If you want to go out for the day and take a picnic, we have also supplied a picnic basket which has plates, bowls, beakers, cutlery, table cloth and napkins.

Golf, Cycling, fishing and walking are fantastic in this area with many areas for these sports. If you wish to play golf during your stay, you will need to book your tee times with the golf courses direct. Two fantastic courses owned by Blue Green are nearby in Les Forges and Mazieres en Gâtine.
