Forming a self-contained wing of a converted barn, you will have sole use of this rural gite in a beautiful, unspoilt part of France. There are two bedrooms, each ensuite, a well equipped kitchen and a bright, sunny sitting room with french windows on to the garden. The gite has air-conditioning which means that nights in mid-summer are much more comfortable. Outside there is a private 12 x 6m pool (which can be heated on request) with shaded areas and an outdoor kitchen, together with attractive gardens that have plenty of spots for relaxing and eating. There is even a petanque court if you fancy some gentle exercise! The gite is within easy reach of local amenities, including an excellent bar/restaurant in the village, and surrounded by glorious scenery, historic bastide (fortified) villages, vineyards to taste the local Gaillac wine and excellent outdoor markets. During the summer there are many events including fetes, Apero concerts at the vineyards and outdoor concerts. We bought this property as a holiday home (we only let out the gite when we are not staying so you will have complete privacy) and instantly fell in love with the area and the barn as soon as we visited. It is a peaceful spot with wonderful views across the surrounding countryside and we always feel so relaxed when we stay here. We like exploring the local area but also enjoy spending time in our beautiful pool.
