The three famous "Iles D'Or" (Port-Cros, Porquerolles and Levant) can be seen from the apartment balcony, and the ferry to visit them only a short drive away. There are several natural hiking trails along the coast (from Gigaro and Escalet) or into the coastal mountains nearby (from La Garde Freinet or Grimaud), the trailheads are an easy short drive away.
