This listing is for:
1) A 2100sf main house with two bedrooms, two full baths, and one half bath.
2) A 240sf detached studio with one queen-sized Murphy bed, one half bath, and an outdoor shower.
3) Outdoor recreation area provides a private resort-like experience with a pool, hot tub, cold plunge tub, infrared sauna, ping pong table, fire pit, lounge chairs, and couches.
The main house's interior has an open floor plan with hardwood flooring, Carrara marble countertops, custom walnut cabinetry, and a huge primary bedroom with a gas fireplace. Wireless internet keeps you connected, and a Sonos system provides music throughout the main house. There is a Roku Smart TV with cable in the living room. The beauty on the inside is matched on the exterior with multiple outdoor seating areas and a spectacular view of the Ojai Sunset.
In addition to the main house, there is a detached studio with a queen-sized Murphy bed, an indoor half bath, and an outdoor shower.
Next to the studio, there is an additional outdoor kitchen, covered patio, and dining area. In the studio is a TV with Apple TV and a Roku Streamer.
Guests have access to the entire property. There is a path around the house, another path from the front of the house leading to the outdoor recreation area, and another path from the rear of the house leading to an exercise/meditation area. The property is planted with native Australian trees, shrubs, and flowers.
The huge primary bedroom has a king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with a shower, tub, two sinks, and a toilet. A gas fireplace and several cozy seats make this an ideal room to sleep and relax. Large glass sliding doors provide access to the exterior and overlook the back of the property.
Bedroom 2 has a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink, and toilet. A sliding glass door provides access to the exterior and back of the property.
The detached studio has a queen-sized Murphy bed, a bathroom with a sink and toilet, and an outdoor shower.
This studio can be configured as an additional hang-out area or work room with an L-shaped couch and end tables instead of a bedroom if guests choose. Once the couch is placed in this studio, the Murphy bed can no longer be used. This configuration cannot be changed during your stay.
Next to the studio is an outdoor kitchen with a Lynx grill and an additional outdoor seating area.
In addition to the outdoor kitchen seating area, the front of the house also has a great porch area which is ideal for relaxing, toasting the end of the day, and enjoying the spectacular view of the sunset. The back of the house has yet another outdoor table and chairs to relax and spend time with one another.
The recreation area provides the best indoor-outdoor living and provides your own resort-like experience. There is a pool (with ionization sanitizing instead of chlorine or salt water), a hot tub with jets, an infrared sauna, and a cold plunge pool. A ping-pong table provides some friendly competition with exercise.
Super comfortable Restoration Hardware furniture in various areas provides multiple lounging options; chaise lounges by the pool, a pergola area with a huge couch, an armchair and coffee table, and chairs around the firepit.
This area is equally inviting at night with landscape lighting, lighting inside the pool, and a giant gas firepit to stay warm and watch the stars at night.
If you want to unwind and recharge, multiple areas inside and out are ideal for yoga practice or meditation.
Wild animals are often in the area - bunnies, raccoons, coyotes, hawks, and owls. There are bugs and lizards from time to time. This is nature at its finest.

Depending on usage and time of year, the cold plunge pool can be cooled for an additional daily charge.
We will allow a maximum of two small dogs (less than 20 lbs), with an additional cleaning fee of $150 per stay. Other pets are not allowed.
The property is on a gentle hill in the country, with a 5-minute drive to downtown Ojai and a 2-minute drive into Meiners Oaks.
Local transportation includes the Topa Topa taxi service, Uber/Lyft, and the Ojai Trolley. Bike rental is available through the Mob Shop, located downtown.
This house has a 30-day minimum stay.
