This gite is part of a typical french farmhouse situated in beautiful, unspoilt countryside, enjoying fantastic views of rolling hills, corn & sunflower fields & a slow pace of life. Ideally situated closeby to the town of Verteillac which has all the necessary amenities for an enjoyable and stressfree holiday. Riberac, Mareuil and Villebois Lavalette are also closeby and offer markets, restaurants and other facilities.
The gite, lying between the owners farmhouse & a beautiful old barn, has been thoughtfully renovated to provide a high standard of accommodation, yet retaining all the rustic charm that you would hope to find at your french holiday home. Inside, amazing oak roof timbers, beautiful stone fireplace, old oak floors, whilst outside there’s the large courtyard around which the numerous barns & pigeonnier sit, shaded by an old lime tree. The 10m x 5m swimming pool with roman steps has its own enclosed garden and child safety alarm as well as a terrace, sun loungers, BBQ & dining area under a shaded pergola. There’s lots of space for the children to run, a play area, 14ft trampoline, table tennis and babyfoot.
