In the Rhone valley, at the foot of the rock of Mornas where the fortress provides a natural observation point, and 3 kilometres from the village, a large farmhouse is located, fully restored, well decorated and originally furnished. This cottage has an adjacent "loft" lefthand without causing any disturbance or affecting privacy as the inner access door is double and insulated, and the large opening overlooking the garden is closed and opaque. At the same distance (15km) from Bollène, an old Provençal city, and from Orange, a Roman town, you are at the heart of the Côtes du Rhône Appellation d'Origine contrôlée and not far from the great French vintages of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. An ideal destination, Mornas is surrounded by villages that rival one another in their riches and charm for the visitors' pleasure.
The entrance is through the dining room with its huge table to bring you together to share a good meal. On the left, the adjoining kitchen is well equipped with electrical appliances and beautiful crockery, and its back kitchen includes a refrigerated wine cellar and washing machine. Following on, there is a shower room with a WC, useful for the swimming pool, and a bedroom with a 2m wide bed and integrated shower room with a WC. The staircase at the far end of the kitchen leads to 4 bedrooms, a shower room and a WC, both separate. The first has a double bed and a single bed, the second has a double bed and a sofa, the third has a double bed and the fourth bedroom has a large double bed with an integrated shower room. At the far end of the dining room there is the very comfortable lounge with large screen TV and working fireplace. Next, a corridor leads to 2 bedrooms with double beds and integrated shower rooms in each and a separate WC. All the bedrooms have electric heaters.
The large plot is enclosed and well landscaped. Four cars can park inside the property. A tiled 80m2 terrace, covered by reeds, includes a large table to bring you together at meal times .Around the generously sized swimming pool, which has five steps leading into the water, there is a relaxation area for your added comfort, with several mattresses and cushions awaiting you in the shade for a well-earned siesta. In the farmhouse, the large plate glass door in the dining room leads you outside.
