L'Ecurie Gite is a 5* and 4 Keys Cle Vacance accommodation, sleeps 6 comfortably and is situated in the Domaine de Trepart in the north Dordogne with 2km of private riverbank on the River Cole. This cottage is sympathetically renovated with a large open space downstairs and 3 sumptuous bedrooms upstairs, one en-suite shower room and a house bathroom.
Included in the price of your gite is all household linen, i.e. bed linen, bath & hand towels, pool towels, table cloths and teatowels.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, gas double oven, 5 ring gas hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. Other accessories include a Senseo coffee maker, Krups coffee filter machine, electric whisk, slow cooker and safe. A welcome pack will be provided in your gite.
Baby equipment is available on request.
The gite also has a hi-fi system, a wide-screen flat TV, internet access, Freeview UK TV, French TV, DVD player, iron, ironing board and woodburner. Electric radiators are fitted downstairs and in all bedrooms.
The cottage shares a swimming pool (fenced in) and large garden with her sister gite Le Chai next door. The garden comes with a box of games, including badmington and a pin-pong table. For the younger generation a swing-set is ready to play on in the secure garden. The enclosed riverside terrace has plenty of seating and is perfect for early breakfasts and evening barbeques, gas barbeques provided, with a wooden table and 6 chairs and informal seating for aperitifs or just to chill and listen to the river running over the weir.
Just 1km away is the local village of St Pierre de Cole, where you will find a boulangerie, local grocery shop, post office and restaurant/bar. We are also just 10 minutes from the beautiful picturesque village of Brantome and perfectly situated for the wine route around Bergerac and Bordeaux.
We provide adult bikes, canoes, fishing equipment and tennis rackets & balls, free of charge. The tennis court is in the local village of St Pierre de Cole and we provide you with a free membership while you stay with us. With lots of walking routes in the areas, maps are also available.
We are happy to welcome pets, you will be asked to sign a Pet Attestation before or on arrival, however the points mentioned are just common sense that all pet owners should be aware of. We have two dogs ourselves, so welcome play-mates!
