Located in the northeast of Gironde, at the gateway to the Charente and Charente-Maritime departments, about thirty kilometers from Saint-Emilion and sixty kilometers from Bordeaux, La Caquetoire welcomes you for your stay with family or friends. This location is ideal for discovering the riches of the Libourne region and enjoying a variety of pleasures and activities (canoeing, kayaking, bike rides, exploring towns and villages, wine estates and châteaux, etc.). Our cottage is housed in a beautiful, fully renovated, typical Gironde house dating from 1900. It is located in the small town of Eglisottes and Chalaures, near the main road, which takes you directly to the nearest shops, about 7 km away. The nearby train station, very convenient in summer, will take you to Bordeaux, Angoulême, or the beaches of Arcachon Bay. Our cottage features a beautiful private 4 x 8 m swimming pool (1.40 m deep) surrounded by a large pool house with a summer kitchen (dishwasher, sink, griddle, hob, refrigerator, pizza oven), a dining area, an outdoor shower, and a toilet. The cottage comprises a fully equipped kitchen and utility room on the ground floor, a bright living/dining room opening onto a terrace with garden furniture at the rear, a bedroom with a 180x200 cm bed and its own private shower room/toilet, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are four other bedrooms (one 140x200 cm bed, two 160x200 cm beds, and two 90x200 cm beds), three of which have private shower rooms and a fourth has a bathroom. The cottage features reversible air conditioning in the living areas. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are available on the property. Bed linens are included in the price of your stay. Bathroom and pool linen rentals and end-of-stay cleaning are available (fee-based services apply). To make your stay easier, house rules will be provided upon arrival.
