Sleeping 6, this former farm workers cottage with its golden stone features an owl window and is surrounded by beautiful trees a short amble to the little village with its restaurant. Enjoy the tranquility in your private, fenced garden, perfect for BBQ's, chilling and dogs! La Petite maison is just off the quadrangle in the chestnut walk.
The kitchen is well equipped (Senseo coffee machine, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine) and there's a huge woodburning stove for the Winter months.. Washing machine, ironing board and iron provided, bed linen, towels and pool towels included. The open plan downstairs has comfy sofas, large dining table and UK/French TV and WIFI.
Close to Bergerac ( 24km to airport, 22 to train station)) Sarlat and Perigeux, La Petite Maison is the perfect base for exploring all the treasures of the Perigord. Local markets with wonderful local produce, come for Truffles, foie gras, strawberries, plums, and figs in the gastronomic heart of France. Near to wine tastings, castles galore, caves and canoeing, everyone loves the Dordogne!
