This old house is in a haven of peace and beauty. Situated in the middle of the forests, fields and gentle hills of the Dordogne, nearby (2 km) from Brantôme, nicknamed the Venice of the Dordogne.
The house, former farm, is on a private estate of 13 hectares, and enjoys all comfort as well as 3 terraces and a beautiful heated pool. All the tourist attractions - medieval towns of Brantôme, Bourdeilles, Saint-Jean de Cole, romantic waterways, castles, abbey, Perigueux cathedral, Villars caves - are less than 20 minutes drive from the house ...
From the south terrace at the back of the house and from the shady terrace under the large oak tree in the garden, you have an excellent view of the pool and the garden which is lost in the fields and forests at the bottom of the valley of the estate. Take full advantage of this relaxing environment while children play on the garden playground, toboggan, indulge in the fresh water of the pool, or play table tennis in a small barn next to the pool. At the front of the house you will find another large, quiet terrace - you will enjoy breakfast and bird watching.
A stroll in the garden and its forests (a path goes on the side of the garden) will also enchant you. For the more athletic, this path will take you to the center of Brantôme.
