From the paved patio area and its open views of surrounding woodland, hidden chimneys and often a donkey or horse, you enter into the kitchen through bi-folding doors. The kitchen bright and airy, has a great dining table for socialising/admiring the view. The kitchen itself is newly fitted and comes with fresh modern appliances, providing everything you could possibly need. On this level there is also a practical pantry area with another sink, washing machine and dishwasher. Also on the ground level you will find a modern bathroom with shower, the owners of this property really have thought of everything!
Onto the first floor, accessed via the original staircase, you enter the very cozy living room complete with wood burning stove for the cooler nights. The decor is calm and elegant without being fussy. The fireplace does have a fixed guard surrounding it meaning it's entirely child/dog safe, as are the stairs. There are baby gates on each of the floors for safety purposes. The views really are magical from this room.
Off the living room you will find one of the double bedrooms, a spacious room with calming colours, traditional features and a beautiful view. This bedroom has an adjoining 'Jack n Jill' bathroom so can be used as an ensuite but also accessible from the living room, which is quite a clever quirk. The door can be locked should you wish to use it solely as an ensuite. The bathroom is a good size with a a large modern shower and boasts a fantastic wallpaper choice!
On the second floor you will find the second double bedroom, this bedroom is in the eaves of the house so has bundles of character - exposed beams and original masonry work are pride of place. It's cozy, inviting and provides everything you'll need for a good nights sleep!
