Located in the Périgord Blanc, in the heart of the Dordogne, La Grange Couture is a gîte with 5 bedrooms and a sleeping capacity for 15 people. La Grange Couture is a converted barn with a magnificent view of the rolling hills, a typical landscape of the Dordogne with its green fields and woods. The Grange Couture is a 160 sqm accommodation on one level, offering beautiful volumes and a spacious and welcoming interior where wood and stone are its signature. La Grange Couture is an ideal holiday cottage for families with an assortment of games and toys for adults and children alike for relaxing moments in and out.
Outside : Pool side there are sun loungers and a shady corner under the gazebo. On the courtyard side there is a huge terrace under the open barn of more than 80 m² complete with a 25m² summer kitchen offering a huge dining area and kids play area, perfect for eating and having fun together in the shade. Inside, there is a fitted kitchen, 40 m² living-dining room and a 14 m² hall. The rooms are from 14 to 17 m². Each room has a double bed and storage space. In addition, distributed in five rooms, there are 5 beds for one person (2 single beds and a bunk bed). There are three bathrooms with Italian shower and three independent toilets.
In the centre of the village, less than one km, is a little grocery, post office and two restaurants (one only 300 m from La Grange Couture). The geographical location of Manzac-sur-Vern is very central with a multitude of renowned sites to visit. In less than 30 minutes, there are Perigueux, Bergerac, Saint Astier, Villamblard, Neuvic on Isle, Vergt. There are also a lot of trails and paths nearby, including the Voie Verte (Green pedestrian and cyclists path) of La Vallée de L'Isle which is 85 km. Also very accessible are the treasures of the Périgord Vert (Brantôme, Hautefort, Saint Jean de Côle …), Périgord Noir (Les Eyzies, The Cave of Lascaux, Sarlat …), Périgord Pourpre (Montpazier, Saint-Émilion, …) - a heritage rich in history and culture. In terms of cooking facilities, our gîte is equipped with two kitchens (indoor and outdoor) proposing three large refrigerators with freezers, two hotplates (gas, induction), two ovens, two microwaves, two coffee machines, Toaster, kettle and a large assortment of pots and pans. Sit down around two large tables or under the open barn around the huge made-to-measure table. For families with small children, we can provide umbrella beds (3), high chairs (2), booster seats (2), potties (2) and children's bath. In the cottage there is a changing table at your disposal. Each shower room is equipped with a stool to allow the youngest to reach the sink easily. The gîte itself is on one level so no stairs for toddlers to contend with.
For the kids there is a large selection of indoor and outdoor games and toys, including swings, a Wendyhouse, hopscotch, children's darts on the terrace under the yard. There is also a badminton net with rackets, petanque games, Finnish skittles, jav'ball…
