Summary: We had a really enjoyable stay at Villa Land Zee in Saujon. The highlight for us was the lovely garden and patio area, where we spent many wonderful evenings enjoying food and wine in the sunshine. The house was well equipped and very comfortable, bedrooms, bathroom and living area were really great. The stairs are a little unusual and not suitable for young children or the elderly. Also, we REALLY appreciated the flexibility to allow us to have our small dog (who is an important family member!) with us on vacation. It is also a great location to explore the Charente Maritime area, although it is a short drive (20 minutes minimum) to most areas of interest, such as towns, beaches etc. There are some nice restaurants nearby also. Suggest that the kitchen could be improved from a chef's perspective, e.g. knives, garlic press etc., and install a more modern flat screen television. Would highly recommend this house as a great holiday location.
