Maison Totale proposes: A unique villa built in the 90’s with old materials reproducing the style of an actual Basque farm house. It is just a few steps away from the « bourg » the centre of the lovely traditional Basque village of Ahetze, only a few kilometres away from the coast end the cosy town of St Jean de Luz and Guethary.
The house was redecorated recently and the mixture of tradition, modernity, Basque and arty style turns out so well.
The house is about 190m2 on a 1000m2 plot, with wooden decks a great pool, 2 parking places within the electric fence and enough space around to run around and have fun.
We enter the house in the amazing living space with high ceilings, a modern kitchen with sliding doors and table are on the left. In the back of the house we find the first bedroom, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a laundry room with washing and drying machines and another fridge.
Upstairs there’s an amazing mezzanine with a little office space and another chill area. There are also 3 more bedrooms and 1 bathroom, with bath and toilet.
The sunny terrace is facing south and gives direct access to the swimming pool. The pool house also has a shower and toilet. Outside the living there’s a covered terrace with some sofa’s to relax or enjoy a drink!
Ahetze is situated in the middle of Biarritz and St Jean de Luz, both about 10 km away. It’s a typical Basque village and a perfect spot to start your discovery of the surroundings: Basque traditions, surf beaches, the start of the mountains of the Pyrenees, tapas in Spain, all at a stone’s throw!
