The Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency is offering this superb 50 m² 'Bail mobilité' flat for rent, located in a 19ᵉ building in the heart of the Chartrons district, a stone's throw from Rue Notre Dame and all the shops. It offers all the comfort and authentic charm of Bordeaux for an exceptional stay. This well-equipped flat is on the 2nd floor, accessible via a stone staircase. It has one bedroom, a living room, a separate kitchen and a bathroom and can comfortably accommodate two people and 2 children thanks to a mezzanine in the living room (above the kitchen). Bed linen and towels of 4* hotel quality are provided, as well as bath mats and tea towels.
Please note that this accommodation is only available for medium-term stays (minimum 30 nights).
The accommodation comprises
- A beautiful living room with a flat-screen TV, storage space and a high dining table.
- A separate kitchen with everything you need to prepare your favourite dishes: fridge-freezer, induction hob, multifunction oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and plenty of cooking utensils.
- One bedroom with double bed and storage space.
- A mezzanine with two single beds
- A bathroom with bath, washbasin, hairdryer and toilet.
For your convenience, a washing machine, iron and ironing board are also available.
To comply with legislation, your reservation will require the signature of a contract (mobility lease or civil lease). To do this, we will need a few additional items (identity card, insurance, supporting documents). Unfortunately, we will not be able to give you access to the accommodation without signing a contract in due and proper form. This does not affect the conditions agreed via our website or via the various rental platforms.
Neighbourhood :
Just a stone's throw from the quays and the Garonne, the Chartrons district in Bordeaux offers a prime location between the prestigious Quinconces esplanade and the Jardin Public. Marked by its wine trade and enriched by its maritime exchanges, its streets are home to the sumptuous residences of former merchants and wine warehouses. A village within the city, just like the suburb it once formed, this mecca for antique dealers and merchants encapsulates the history of Bordeaux.
Today, the merchants are still in Les Chartrons (after a short break in the 20th century). They have been joined in the narrow streets by the antique dealers. Rue Notre Dame, which stretches for 700 metres, is home to around forty of them. An emblematic street in the district, it has seen art galleries and interior design shops flourish over the years. These small shops, which stamp it as a BOBO district, do not contradict its history. The history of the district is still dear to the hearts of its residents. Many of them consider themselves Chartronnais long before they were Bordelais!
Getting around:
If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the 'Cité mondiale' public pay car park, just 200 metres away.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train station: Bordeaux train station is 15 minutes away by tram (line C).
- Nearest airport: Bordeaux airport is about 25 minutes away by car (20 km).

Other remarks:
- Quality sheets, towels and tea towels and a few coffee capsules are provided and your bed is made on arrival.
- Of course, Wi-Fi is available and free!
- Utilities are included in the rental price (water, electricity, internet). Please note, however, that a meter reading may be taken on arrival and departure. An inventory of fixtures can also be carried out on arrival and departure.
