There are several areas for 'alfresco' eating, equipped with tables chairs and parasols,which are delightful places to sit and relax. The Gite garden, with a large shady terrace,also has comfortable armchairs and a bbq. The 'secret' secluded, pool garden, is a sunny delight! Equipped with tables,chairs, sun loungers and parasols, and a delightful' Day-bed'. The gite is close to two internationally renowned Theme Parks: The Puy du Fou, and Futuroscope.
Both gardens are surrounded by rolling countryside offering wonderful views, with many footpaths to explore. A stone picnic table and benches are but a 3 minute walk along the lane!
In the nearby village of St Pierre du Chemin, (3 minutes by car) there is a Childrens playground, general store with a post office, award winning boulangerie, bank with cashpoint, hairdressers, restaurant/bar and chemist, and beautiful lake near the old 'Lavoir'.. There are three large supermarkets and numerous other shops, about an 8 minute drive, in the nearby town of La Chataigneraie.
