Located in a perfectly quiet hamlet in the town of Lorignac, we suggest you spend your vacation time in our pretty, recently restored Charentaise. There are no other gites. The swimming pool is in fact for your exclusive use. Cleaning after your departure is optional for 70 €.
Very bright and decorated in a contemporary style, you will find on the ground floor a very open living space with large windows allowing you to enjoy the sun in the morning and in the evening. The cottage is adjoining the house which remains unoccupied during rental periods.
The 25m2 living room is decorated with a large period fireplace, and has a flat screen TV, a DVD player (we have made available around twenty DVDs in French), a satellite decoder for French channels and another satellite decoder for English channels. Indispensable for children: a free wifi connection.
Open onto the 20 m2 kitchen, it is equipped with a large fridge-freezer, an induction hob, extractor, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Its double French window opens onto the east-facing terrace, and offers a direct view of the swimming pool.
The upper floor has two bedrooms, one with two 90cm beds that can be joined into a large 180cm bed and the other with a 140x190 bed. The upstairs windows can be locked for children and each room is also equipped with a velux window with interior and exterior blinds, providing light and ventilation. The bathroom has a bath, shower, sink and toilet. A high chair, a travel cot, and a small bathtub are at your disposal. Bed linen and towels are included.
The 8mx3.5 pool is equipped with a shutter for the safety of children, and heated to 27 degrees, from April to September. It has its own terrace and a bar with table top fridge and sink. An attached toilet avoids returning to the house. The entrance to the pool is designed as a small paddling pool of 1mx1m for the little ones with non-slip liner. The basin at a depth of 1.10m and gradually descends to 1.50m. LED lighting allows the pool to be lit in different colored atmospheres.
You will have a 30m2 terrace, adjoining the kitchen, where you will find a table with 4 chairs, a parasol and a barbecue.
For the respect of our tenants, we do not accept animals and the house is non-smoking.
The pool is two years old like most of the indoor equipment including bedding and linens provided.

We recommend the beaches of Saint Georges de Mescher, Saint George de Didonnes 30mn, and Pontaillac 40mn.
Bordeaux is 45 minutes (wine museum) and the pretty village of Saint Emilion (1h15). Take advantage of your stay to also visit the superb Palmyre zoo (1 hour) and the aquatic area "les Antilles de Jonzac" 20 minutes away.
