Summary: Our family really enjoyed the time spent in this home. As evident from the pictures, the views are simply outstanding. The house comes fully furnished and equipped with anything you could need, and the air-conditioned bedrooms were very welcomed. The trip to the beach was a quick one on bikes, though the trip down to sea level was always a bit 'exciting' on the narrow Italian roads. More than anything, the best part of this house was the privacy. Unlike the neighboring properties, one can truly relax in the large pool with knowing nobody can see in. Makes it a bit less stressful using the outdoor shower as well! The boys could never get enough of the water. Outside of the house, we spent lots of time at the uncrowded beaches soaking in the sun. Most nights were spent enjoying a gelato in nearby Porto Ercole. The most memorable day involved renting a small boat to circle the coastline, dropping anchor and jumping in the clear water wherever we wished. Certainly nothing against the home, but a word of warning before visiting is that one should prepare with lots of mosquito repellant. Perhaps it's been a particularly bad summer, but they played a big part in our vacation adventure. Many thanks to Ronald's son Patrick for the introduction to the home, and the follow-up help he provided, even during his own stressful travels. We would definitely recommend this home to our friends. The kids are still asking when we can go back to the big private pool with the nice view....
