River Cottage is a self contained Apartment set in 30 acres of beautiful woodlands and overlooks the River Couze. The property dates back to 14th century and forms part of a very large complex which we have restored.
We provide luxury sheets, towels and all cooking facilities.
There is an LCD flat screen English television and wifi is available, full stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine, iron and board, barbecue, cleansing products, washing machine and dryer.
Breakfast on a self cater basis is provided for two for the duration at 12 euros per person per day.

We are located just 5 minutes from Intermarche supermarket and The village of Beaumont du Perigord. There is a Monday night market in the town and many other activities including a Pizza Restaurant.
Chateau Bannes and Chateau Ste Croix de Beaumont are located minutes away from us.
Bergerac airport is 25 minutes and Les Eyzes is 40 minutes by car.
Restaurants include: Les Peyrol, Chez Claudette, Chateau Les Merles, Moulin du Surrier and many others in Monpazier, St Avit Senieur and Cadouin within easy driving from our location.
There are many private walks in our woods and the surrounding countryside and we are not located near any other properties so complete privacy is a feature.
La Forge is a romantic and historic property with a rich history documented on Google and is a wonderful story.
We have met the previous French Family who owned and operated La Forge as a forge producing armaments for over 300 years and they visit on a regular basis to enjoy our restoration.

We live on site in the Maison de maitre which is located in the interior complex and can help with all enquiries and advice on the area of the Couze Valley. We are on the Couze River so we do not recommend children visiting but would consider the opportunity if you call us.
We are in the centre of the Bastides of the Dordogne region between Monpazier and Beaumont du Perigord.
