The properties are located in the Périgord pourpre, near friendly medieval towns and Bastides of Beaumont du Périgord, Monpazier, Cadouin, Issigeac and Belvès to name only a few. As well as medieval castles such as Château Lanquais, Château de Biron, Château Les Milandes and Château de Monbazillac.
The area is well known for its gastronomic delights, vineyards, outstanding natural beauty and architectural heritage.
Local specialities include duck based products (foie gras, confit, magret), walnuts (walnut wine, jam, oil, cakes), chestnuts, truffles, cheeses (cabecou) and cepes. The vineyards of Bergerac are also an easy reach for a day out of wine tasting.
