Situated in the south of the Dordogne "La Grange de Briffaud" is a fabulous luxury converted barn .
Firstly you can park on the front of the barn in the driveway.
The barn has a spacious Kitchen fully equipped an next to it , you will find a spacious utility room with a washing machine and dryer with a cloak room , toilet with a wash bassin in this room .
Going through the spacious kitchen . going through two livings rooms with ample of space to relax and eat on the dining table for 6/8 persons , But if it is cold the fire place and hot air conditioning will keep you warm and relax .
The other living room is more for watching TV or reading Ect . it has the terrace door which bring you to my favourite places !
The first terrace is open with a big Umbrella you can open if the sun is too hot where you can relax and have an aperitif or two and a lovely diner while watching the Sunset and you can see the land over and as far off the Horizon.
The second terrace is for when the weather is not on our side but it is still warm it is covered And spacious , and you can have a meal or a drink .
Going back inside the barn through the terrace door and the second living room , you will find a second bedroom fully equipped and with ensuite shower and basin, and a separate toilet room, the bed is a double bed .
In the main living room they are a staircase which brings you to the main spacious bedroom and a big bathroom , with historical bath and a big shower and a separate toilet . The bed is king size ! very confortable for a holiday
The region boasts many interesting places to visit for all ages. Sightseeing, eating, vineyards, wine tasting, shopping, canoeing, water park, go-carts, bowling and so much more.
At the back of the property we have a friendly farmer who has a little theatre which bring music and comedy talent from time to time and it is worse paying a fews euros to go and see it when they are a spectacle , and before the spectacle they are serving home made food which you can eat on table outside with the locals .
La Grange is 8 minutes away from one of the many golf clubs in the area including the famous Chateau des Vigiers - only 25Km away .
There is a market every day of the week in pretty villages close to this property, including the famous Bastide town of Eymet
The most amazing Frescoes from the late 15th Century can be seen in the church within the delightful village of Allemans du Dropt which is 13 KM from La Grange .
Marmande is the town at 20 minutes away and they are plenty of shops and restaurants but the history and architecture are worse a look in .
You can go to the seaside in Arcachon the drive is 1.30 hours but it will be a day at the wonderful seaside town .
Bordeaux is 2 hours away but again a good trip for visiting Bordeaux and maybe some wine testing on the way .
Bergerac is another historique place to visit and it is beautiful !! Only 20 minutes away .
