We are 14kms drive from Beautiful Brantome, renaissance town, set on the river Drone beside the Benedictine abbey, our capital Perigueux 38kms has a rich history dating back to Celtic and Roman periods,12th century cathedral, it’s cobbled streets hosting many shopping opportunities, and regional markets, en route from here are many beautiful villages to wander through, Saint Jean de Cole, and Bourdeilles, are favourites, slightly further afield, ancient Sarlat and Bergerac vineyards and wine trails are also a good day out, there is much here for those wishing to be busy, otherwise the tranquillity of the gardens and surrounding countryside are a peaceful retreat. We are served by good travel links, airports at Limoges, Bergerac and Bordeaux, high speed train links to Paris and most major cities from Perigreuex.
